Got in on a late Friday night after a long drive down to LA from the bay. Got seated immediately, the restaurant was busy but the service was still great. Love that they still have the covid partitions up for the middle crowded sections. It was very lively even almost to closing. Came here for their signature lobster dish with the Vietnamese flavor and their squab -- both dishes satisfied our cravings after a long travel day. Great portions and perfect amount of sauce to mix with the free bowl of rice. To top it all off, complimentary egg waffle with the lobster dish! If only we could get this in the Bay Area!

Went on Father's Day at opening time. Packed within 20 minutes. Awesome service Fried fish with basil - fried well with a light glaze, Basil complements the dish Sweet and sour pork - freshly fried, crispy and tender, just enough sauce for this excellent dish. Favorite of the day. Better than Mom makes Fish filet with seasonal vegetables - good fish, vegetables perfectly blanched Curry beef stew - Chinese style, more herbal than other curries, very delicious Steamed pork meat with salted fish and egg - not too salty, well balanced dish Chicken and corn over rice - was full from the other dishes at this point but runny egg with the chicken and corn, mildly seasoned and overall great rice dish

Lobster is $36/lb and minimum is 4lbs. We came for Father's Day and of course it was crowded. They have plenty of large table accommodations and food was Cantonese style and very tasty. Lots of different dishes to choose from and my favorite thing is they still have hing kong milk tea from the OK cafe days!

I took my parents here while they were visiting and we were very impressed by the meal! We arrived without a reservation and it was around 20-30 minute wait on a Sunday dinnertime. Service is to the point but the food timing came out pretty well and there were still servers checking in with refilling waters throughout the night. Must orders: + House Special Vietnamese Style Lobster - they chose a small lobster which was still huge. I think they try to do 1lb/person and it was priced at $36/lb when we dined in May 2024. Add in the glass noodles ($12 addon). Lobster was so fresh and each piece came already cracked so easy to get out. The Vietnamese style was semi like a slightly sticky fish sauce-ish but I loved it and the star was all the roe! These red little eggs were gold - it made the dish 10x better. + Deep Fried Salted Pig Feet - besides the lobster, this place is known for this dish! The pieces of meat were so tender and the skin, was soooo crispy! Taking the skin off the meat and frying it alone was a game changer. Even at the end of the meal (1.5 hours later), the last piece of skin was still crispy. The meat is paired with a plum sauce that I liked a lot - cut the fattiness of the meat. + Fried Black Tiger Prawns with Dried Fish and Garlic - prawns were huge! Also very plump and loved all the fried garlic. The fried red peppers also had a kick to it! Could skip: + String Beans with Minced Pork Stir Fry - I would order this again but if I was looking for another veggie dish with the above 3 orders, I would get something not as greasy to lighten up the meal a little. + Singapore Curry Beef Stew - the meat was super tender but the curry taste was unexpected for me. A little bit heavier on the nutty side I think? This place is must go for the lobster and pig feet if anything!
